Disabled call systems
The purpose of an effective disabled call system is to provide people who cannot easily use fire escapes, stairs etc., to call for assistance. As well as installing disabled call systems for fire safety purposes, some organisations are choosing to provide call assistance facilities for the disabled when in isolated locations, such as WC facilities.
In the event of an emergency, the system will give effective two-way communication between administrators and those at risk to, firstly, assist rescue teams in determining where assistance is required and, secondly, to reassure people that help is on the way. Our systems are fully compliant with BS 5588.
The system can also be interfaced with a fire alarm so that it only becomes operational when the fire alarm is activated, thus eliminating nuisance use. We can also extend most existing systems and integrate them with other security systems such as access control.
Our range of call systems are designed for easy end-user operation, and we offer an on-going maintenance to endure optimum performance.
